We might have won but in large part it was because we played a very ordinary opposition. Some good efforts from the likes of Langdon and Ryan but some lack of polish from a number of others.

If anything this weeks win and the way it was achieved gives me more concern about the coach than the loss last week. This issue will still be closer to resolution at the end of the year, if off field issues don’t intervene.
I am willing to make allowances given our current injury list but that was hard to watch tonight.

Yep, D Pearce was ok tonight, a goal on the run, fought hard and gained some metres. Johnno also took a couple of contested marks, not his forte, and cleaned up well. Still very nervous when he has ball in hand on the kick ins...a couple of kicks missing targets...and putting us under pressure. But so did others.

Yep, Johnno went ok, but the reasoning behind calls for him to step down gracefully is still there. Against most other sides in the comp he would have been found out again.

Exceed, I don't think you or anyone else is bagging Johnno, he is still trying his best, but Blind Freddy can see his body is not up to it anymore.

Can we please stop referring to our injury list as a reason for our struggles while ignoring that our competitors ususally have the same issues, eg AA Roberton before the game and their best player in the first half, Carlisle, during the game.

You don’t become a successful team with only 22 good players on your list.
