All things considered, if Ross Lyon threw in the towel, if Rosich decided the 'time is right to move on", if Dale Alcock said he didn't have the spare time anymore to chair a footy club and oversee his company.... Would it break the club? No. Replacements would be found - they always are. The team would play the next game and the next.... And the members would continue to turn up, albeit in smaller numbers. Wouldn't be the first time that's happened, either. We're not supporters because of the coach, or the CEO or however the chairman is now. We support the club despite them. And despite the hostile media, the sneering and the jeering. It's the team that takes the field, and how well they play footy that matters to us.
But if they make a habit of selling seats for games at a fraction of the per game cost of my season long membership, then I'll have to very carefully consider if it's worth being a ripped-off member anymore.
