I have supported the club since 1994 and am an inaugural member. I will continue to support them because it is in my blood. I was a south freo supporter from birth and my dad was one from when he migrated here in the 1920s. It's what we are.
I support the players but and I see Noddy doesn't get this, the club is more than players it is more than transient mercenaries who coach and administer it. It is the supporters tge people who pay substantial money each year to be part of something, to belong.
Footy is tribal you put on your colours you ride the ups and downs with passion and commitment. When you are up you are elated when you are down you are deflated.
What does the club stand for, it stands for each and everyone of us each of us are part of this thing,
I like to feel we all belong, I like to be at the game, to speak to people before and after the game to see how the boys are training and to hear from them and the coaches. We don't get this interaction, this dialogue. We aren't a club we are a business and I hate that.
But in the end I am part of the club, and tge club is part of me. I will be a docker until I die.
As Ross says it is what it is.
