How predictable, quad tightness - as good an excuse as any to spin I guess. Its probably why they ran him in the middle in the fourth - yeah, that makes heaps of sense.

But Stephen would get a game from me over anyone in the magoos, any day of the week -one leg or no legs, wouldn't matter.

D Pearce was never a problem. He goes out and gives his best for Freo every game he gets. The worst you could say is that his selection was a symptom of not having anyone better to play his role.

I would have brought him in last week, and I’d pick him this week as well.

DS, clearly D. Pearce is not sooking down at Peel cause he’s consistently been racking up 30+ disposals and being one of the better players. This is the juggling act the coaches are up against. Yeah he’s clearly out the door, and yes we need to play the kids but I’m not sure of the solution when a player is busting his gut in the seconds only to be overlooked for the sake of gifting games to others. Would D. Pearce have made a difference last week, no. But we had 10 blokes lay 4 tackles in a half of footy. Hope they’ve identified the culprits.
