They were hopeless. But that injury list Corporal is shonky - Langdon played last night (and ony had 6 dispoals). Sure, Cameron may fire but he has hopeless games too; Scilly, Greene and Lobb are the important absentees. But they're really missing Wilson - about the same level that we love the guy - Witfield is playing out of position and Coniglio/Sheils are hurt without that speed/precision coming out of the back half. Yep, nicking Nathan Wilson has hurt those precocious twats a lot - I reckon their coach is really feeling the heat.

The knee was probably part of the play, the very errant attempt to spoil the ball via the head/neck with his left fist was not. Laying hands on an umpire is not on, even Margetts. The AwFL needs to make a statement here. 6 weeks at least.

We talk about coaches and game plans a lot on DL, most of it to do with our club. Watching GWS last night and also the past 18mths, could a Longmire, Scott, Clarkson have taken them to a premiership by now. Never mind the fact that the AFL have a created a monster that looks to be a GIANT failure, have they got the right coach and game plan?

The AFL created a an absolute monster by giving GWS ridiculous startup concessions and helping them corner the market almost with the talent that has been gifted to them.

But the footy gods have evened the playing field by putting a crab in the coaches box. Clarkson would have had 2 flags by now with that list and be looking at four or five-peat. Thank the lord they have Cameron instead

As for their injury list, did we swap medicos as part of the McCarthy deal?

I think that creating a team in an area that has near zero interest in AFL was and is a stupid decision that will never really take off the way it was expected. Smallest finals crowd ever last year when they played the slime. Supporters are very quiet, no passion plus their song is even worse than ours.
I feel that players that go there generally stay for the money and maybe they play like that. They've lost a lot of good players who have gone back to an AFL city that has a football culture.
Yes we've won nothing but the Fremantle name has a long and proud association with football not a sterile, contrived st up like GWS. We're mangaing to bring players back home and keep greats like Pav and Mundy who turned down lucrative offers to return home.
No wonder Tasmania were pi55ed off.
