By old-fashioned I mean that a couple of decades ago a 192cm slowish backman had a role to play if they were tough and savvy. If you think about Hamling or Pearce, they both have a few centremetres on him, and at least to my eye a few yards of pace.
He reminds me more of Collins than either of those guys.
He's got good hands, so he could be useful forward, but his goal kicking last year left a bit to be desired. Still, I'd be tempted to give him a run while Tabs is out, and maybe even experiment with A Pearce forward/Cox back in certain situations. I don't think we have anything to lose trying that against Richmond for example.
