Yes, give him more game time, please. It will give us more time to marvel at Sandi's superiority. I am not sure why it is the news Freo doesn’t want to hear. I hope Naitanui plays. He is the most overrated player in the afl and acts more as a figurehead that his team seems to rally around than anything else. If the ball is kicked to a contest that he is in he is pretty good but he is hopeless at hunting his own ball. He had 8 touches on the weekend and that’s about average for him. I only saw the first half and Carlton’s no name ruckman beat him at every centre bounce.

It will be Freo versus Josh Kennedy again.

Goodie, did you watched Kennedy’s efforts on the weekend against Liam Jones and Rowe. He was useless and he’s coming up against Pearce, who on form is the AA full back, if the team was picked today. Darling was at his worst again and Hamling will take him to the cleaners. That leaves new boy Waterman and the resting ruckman as their other talls. To be honest, I think Duman, Ryan, Blakely and Wilson will have a day out.

More precautionary. He’s coming off broken leg injuries in the last 18 months, and playing in the ruck support role on Saturday night would have worried a few purple people. He said he won’t be missing the Derby for any money. And to my knowledge he’s only played 25 AFL games since being drafted. I think we’ve got one here.

This is a genuine question: has NicNat ever been in the best players against Freo? My memory is that Sandi has towelled up the Eagles ruckmen every game he played, and even when he was injured Griff ended up towelling them.

Which is the interesting thing about Sandi. He might not be the best ruckman in the league in any given season - but I can't ever really remember him being beaten by anyone.

And I can remember Sandi being beaten, by Margetts, Dalgliesh, Williamson, Razor Ray, Brown, Nicholls, Findlay. The 2 centre bounce frees against him on Saturday were an absolute travesty. and it is happening every week. The club should be backing him by publicly airing video clips showing the frees paid against him as well as the frees not paid to him. Show some intestinal fortitude Chrissie and stand up to AwFL central. You know it makes sense, just do it.
