Loving the new stadium and the season so far. Well done to docker land people for the many thoughtful comments regarding Shane Yarran.

My gripe for the week is the playing of purple rain.....to me its really durgy and not uplifting to begin the game...i hope it is just short term...

All set for the derby....it will be a great game win lose or draw.....Hoping for a Dockers record crowd!!

I can see what they were going for, but it just doesn’t work, and there’s not much to indicate it’s going to catch on.

Does Freo still have the partnership with Curtin Uni? Why didn’t they just make the 1 minute pre-game video thingy a project for the final year media students, choose the best 5 or so to trial at games and then have the fans vote?

Or just take Shane’s suggestion of the Lonesome Boatmen.

Or come up with something better themselves.

Throw Your Arms Around Me and Purple Rain are both horrible choices for pre-match entertainment.

The whole point of pre-match video / music is to fire up the fans. Both of those songs have the opposite effect.
