The umpiring must have been really bad last night, because I went home thinking they'd been ok.
But seriously, that really annoys me. I hate home town bias. If the umpires don't leave the ground to a chorus of booing, they haven't done their job. And the AFL are happy, because when the home team wins, it encourages fans to go to the game.
If you don't think its bad, consider the Slime vs Carlton. Free kicks 25 to 16 in Carlton's favour. Can you imagine that free kick count at the craypot?
(PS, I didn't even realise the Bullies won the free kick count. Imagine how bad it would have been had the game been in Melbourne!)
