Reading the other thread where everyone's reviewing our game plan often with an inherent bias, either for or against Lyon, can get your head spinning, but four games in, I reckon we're going ok. Lost away to two likely top four sides and put up a fight in both, particularly against GWS. Two good home wins, and Essendon are not a bad side, albeit not a good traveling side.
We've got some good draft picks, our midfield is good, our defence is good and getting better and, yes, forward line needs work, but I see signs there particularly with Tabs, that things are improving.
Next couple of weeks will throw more light on the argument, but no reason why we can't beat the Bullies and the Slime. Pearce & Hamling will handle Kennedy & Darling. Win those two games and we're 4-2. And I think good chance we can be 6-4 after 10 games.
So on balance, glass is half full !
