I went along to duck park today and managed to not get a freo score until watching the replay - unbelievable!
Darcy didnt appear to play from the 2nd qtr onwards so not sure what happened but hopefully not too bad. He was certainly dominant early especially with Swans all over Peel in the first qtr.
Massive disappointment - Apeness...I know he has had problems but if he wasnt a first rounder, I reckon he would have been delisted 2 years ago. Alex Howard continues to beat AFL Listed players and would love to in Ross's system - give him a chance!
I know there are many on this site convinced hes the real deal - get over it - hes no good.
Tucker very good, Meek very good and a great goal from the boundary, Cox average - seems low on fitness or energy but still has good hands, North very classy but a long way off AFL in terms of fitness and body shape..The rest were serviceable including Danyle Pearce who had a heap of the ball but didnt really do much with it..
Great win from the ducks and a decent crowd to boot
##late edit - just had a chat to a mate - watched from members side, reckons he saw Big Darcy leave Basso with a bad knee injury early on...hoping thats not true but appears so..#prayforsean otherwise Meek may be getting a run in the seniors next week
