I’m not sure that’s true, and not evident on their body of work so far. Grey is hard at it and not much more, and Hughes looks a better player than he plays. Besides, the spots they are fighting for are taken.

I would have picked Tucker ahead of Tommy, but I haven’t seen their work side by side.

When Freo drop a player like tucker last week - they never re select after 1 Game, they always have to put in 2 - 3 good games before selected again. Shame Tom North injures as I reckon he would’ve been selected. But let’s see maybe Sheridan can turn it around and show something

Barring another injury on Saturday, Sheridan is straight out again.

I'd prefer Grey too but at least there was only one (forced) change. 4 points doesn't rest on whether Sheridan plays well or not. The whole team has to.

I always like to look at both these teams that played last year. On paper, the Suns are a better team than us given our 4 debutants. They are without Ablett this year but have got Lyons, Swallow and Witts who were outstanding last week. So Sheriden's selection is a non-talking point. Young Hill isn't exactly setting the world on fire. But like last week, if our senior boys stand up, the others will follow. The game is won on grass plus they need to stop Fyfe. Good luck with that.
