Might have to go to a game the way this is going.

Two similar teams having a good old fashioned crack at it so far. Lots to like.

I know the knockers will focus on one spilt mark in the first q from Tabs but he's taken a couple of good grabs and kicked a couple of nice goals.

some annoying turnovers giving the Bombers more of the game than they should have and they've possibly been more efficient with their I50s...

still lots to like here. The younger players look like they're slotting right in. Fyfe is great form. Cam Mac does good things and tries hard, bless him. (he's good but every now and then... ) Walters is a phenomenon and having two Hills is 'kin excellent.

There definitely seems to be more structure this week. Players look like they know what they're up to and where they should be.

Great game. Essendon using the ball better and getting us on transition.

Very encouraging: Brayshaw, Ryan, Wilson and Langdon.

Gonna run them off their feet in the second half.

Number 7 for Dockers is ok I guess.

Dave Mundy having a cracker of a game so far. Mitch Crowden looks a bit out of his depth at the moment. Hopefully he will improve as the day goes on. Brayshaw and Cerra looking like seasoned performers.

So enjoyable to watch them having a red hot go. As they gel together as a team you'd expect things to get better and better.

I am surprised, though, that the TV commentators haven't mentioned they're playing at a new ground.

Great to see them with their tails up and chasing hard...

too hard sometimes, getting in each other's way but the effort is fantastic. So good to have Alex Pearse back. Cerra's first goal was awesome, not for the kick itself but the run everyone showed to get to him.
