Went down and had look at this one. Not the best quality game with a big breeze blowing to one end. Peel played like a team who don't train together in the first half and were much better after half time.
Pretty much the tactics was bomb it long into a very tall forward line and have all players try and mark it at the same time. Don't actually remember any of the talls taking a pack mark. East Freo should have won the game with their mosquito fleet.
Duman and Cox were very good in the backline. Both had good composure and took some good grabs. Cox is going to be a very good pick up for us. Peel stood up in the last kicking with the breeze. Darcy and Brady worked well together in the centre and Traye Bennell was in everything. Darcy is looking fit. No more puppy fat.
The game was scrappy, maybe because of the conditions. Apart from Cox and Darcy no one was sticking their hand up to be picked in the main team.
I'm just glad we weren't playing Subi.
