The corresponding game last year, we took an experienced team in and got flogged by Robbie Gray. This time, 10 different players, a very much less experienced team without Gray playing. I see the gap between the 2 teams reduced dramatically this time around and we're match fit. Trust me if it’s a flogging, then we’re in for a long season. Truth be known, the ins for Port are primarily players whom have been discarded from other clubs. That includes Rockliff, who gets his possessions on the cheap. Their big out is Robbie Gray. Our big in is Nat Fyfe. Yeah he played last year in the corresponding game, but at the minute, he’s unstoppable. I know which side I’d rather have me money on.

Morgan, your lock-ins is nearly as convincing as the Slime predicting Kennedy will play in Rd. 3. Rd1, In 2014, after our pre-season games, everyone predicted Collingwood to smash us by 10 goals at the "G". We won by 70 points. Port are no good things. They're expecting Watts and co to be their saviour. Melb got rid of Watts for a reason. Nuff said.

First game, can't wait. If we bring the pressure and vitality we did against canaries, then we will give it a shake. And with the likes of Logue, Hamling, Hughes, Darcy, Hill, Crowden, North etc fighting for spots, we will just get better. Just make them earn every ball...that would be a good start.
