An amazing reveal and some very interesting thoughts on Darcy and the youngsters.

He seems very keen on getting Darcy in once he has got enough minutes in him. And that injury stymied playing he and Aaron together.

Also he admitted knowing nothing about ladders banfield and now knows all about him !

Maybe get a coach who likes good skills more than he likes spreadsheets. Its radical I know but it could work.

Why would any interview with Lyon change my mind, or anyone else's, good or bad?

He gives great pressers - he can talk for hours and say nothing at all. I form an opinion on game style and results. And that is something he sucks at.

There is nothing in that interview he didn't know 2 or 3 years ago, regarding where they've fallen away. He's buying time by marketing young cattle and a swirly new stadium.

I'd let any other club have him in a heartbeat too.

Lyon is only 3% behind Clarkson. Is Clarkson only 3% better as a coach? Scott tops the list. Which coach has won more finals and premierships? Clarkson wins 66% of finals with his teams. They don't get great draft picks, cos they keep winning.

Look at Lyon's finals performances. 42%. An unconvincing minor premiership to near bottom the following year.

That's what I'm basing it on. Plus pug fugly football that seems to lack communication and organisation.

How can we be rebuilding?

We have a mixture of veterans and players in the prime of their career.

Yes we could do with an elite key forward but we've apparently never considered that important to build towards.

Where else on the field are we playing a bunch more youngsters or new players than any other team in the AFL?
