Exactly right Exceed! Forwards cant do anything if theres hopeless delivery and a hopeless forward structure. Which is EXACTLY why RoLy should be
a) doing something different, and,
b) playing as many kids that can kick as he can at this stage of the season.

Sticking with blokes who cant kick like Pearce, Sutcliffe and Sheriden is just sheer negligence, in my view. He did exactly the same through the JLT last year with The Fist. Stood behind “Player Loyalty”! What bunkum.!,
And putting Pearce in “to hold Hills place” and thereby not change the structure is bunkum also!! Its not like Roly is “on to a winning formula” at the moment.

That is the question everyone needs to be asking. Hes a “One Trick Pony”and its frightening hes been able to get away with it for so long.
Very excited young Crowden gets a go. Hes part of the future.
Very disappointed Hodor is not getting a look in. As much as I love 211, I would put up with a Hodor/ 211 tandem, even if it cost a few games this year. We gotta keep progressing Hodor, because next year ‘hes it’. Needs to be in the ‘Big Time’, not Peel.

Agree that Hodor is the future, but I think they want to try Tabs as a pinch hitting ruckman. If this is the case and we're only going to play one ruckman i really don't understand why we drafted another two ruckmen who aren't mobile either.

Polly, there's a $10 surcharge to pay for the heating elements to warm the beer up, and the chillers that will cool down the pies, for the poms that will walk to the game. A $5 surcharge to pay the fee for NicNat's driver/ruckman who had to work penalty rates yesterday. And probably they just threw on a $10 surcharge because they could.

Understand CA, but why cant they just let Tabs concentrate on being “one thing”, instead of being 2 things that hes not quite up to.?. ( ...note i dont want to start of another 4 pages of Tabs discussion...! ) Yep, great if he has progressed and can be that thing that Zac Clarke wasn’t. Be very valuable if turns into that. But we are asking a lot I think, and retard Hodors progress in the meantime.
And if we fear losing because of the cost of a 211/Hodor Combo, then why the heck are Sheriden, Sutcliffe and Pearce still apparently in the picture. If we were serious about success, we’d have a different game plan and would be trying different players.
Its crazy!! Frustrates me and I know it frustrates you...

Coming into this discussion late but after watching most of the game today and the one against Adelaide - I’m a bit confused as to some of the commentary on here.

It’s as if the new style of quick ball movement done the corridor into the forward 50 has been completely overlooked by some on here who just want Roly sacked for, well, being Roly. The apparently ‘one-trick’ pony. Not from what I’ve seen this pre-season.

Outstanding effort and pressure today that is a throwback to our era of dominance that just came up short of the ultimate prize. But this time around we’ve added in quick ball movement out of our backline and a chance to give our forwards some one-on-one contests.

It’s early doors for sure but you’d rather be in our position going into round 1 than the other mob who are still apparently in premiership mode. Shirley a kitchen sink or two could be lobbed McGovern’s way to bring him ‘home’??
