Let’s put it in perspective. Yo don’t get much change out of $200 for the upcoming Ed Sherrin tix. He may not be your artist of choice but it’s a family outing. The songs he’d be singing will pump up the atmosphere but truth be known, you could buy a CD of his for a lot less.

Watching your team play, who you’re psssionate about at the new stadium with our young talent on show, is much cheaper. And when they win, the euphoria is something else. It’s difficult to put a price on that.

Edit: you can also take your footy buddy to the Suns v OOFTITS game the following week (and actually support Dewey's team). For those of you without a calculator That's $3.75 a seat/game - which is about the cost of a 1978 ticket to an Alice Cooper concert (with Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band opening the show).

Rythum_man - your season tickets are $999 (per adult seat), right? So, about $91 per game (including games against Carlton, North Melbourne and Brisbane, so with this one against Gold Coast we have collected the full set of games in Perth against the bottom four from last year).

It's $45 for the second-tier seats, which are ordinarily about $72 per game. I guess we will find out in time whether the price is right, but a 40% discount seems alright to me.
