Dear Dockerlanders - it has finally arrived! The new, improved Dockerland Fantasy Football League. Affectionately known in the past as the DuFFLe, DuFFLe-X is new and exciting. It will be played in different places all around the world and the very best of the AFL could be playing for you. Yes you! In your very own team.

"Surely not", I hear you think. It is true. You could participate in a draft - a real football draft - and when it is your turn to select, you choose Sean Darcy to lead your ruck. Once you have picked Sean Darcy, no-one else can choose him. Hodor is all yours.

But there is much more to the DuFFLe-X. After the Draft, you will have sixteen quality players just itching to pull on your team's Sekem woolen jumper. This is where the fun starts. For each and every game of the HomeNaway AFL season, you get to pit your players against another DuFFLe-X's players. Points are awarded for goals kicked, tackles made, rucktaps, marks... and wins, draws and losses are recorded in the DuFFLe-X League Table.

During the season, you will have the chance to trade players and substitute others for those injured. Finally, on reaching Round 20, we enter the four week DuFFLe-X Finals Series and at the end of the AFL's Round 23, the DuFFLe-X champion gets to hoist the premiership's perpetual trophy! And, dear reader, in past years there was a fictional trophy. This year, for the DuFFLe-X, we have a real fictional trophy!

Someone is going to have to join us to help overthrow the tyrant running this comp who miraculously managed to win the bloody thing last season. We need all hands on deck to stop Hg. Where are you Slammo? DMan ready for his triumphant comeback? Or will some fresh blood make waves in the DuFFLe to show us all how it's done?

I want to see Jezza's optimism and positive outlook selecting sides and battling wits and football tactics with The Yeti and Corporal Agarn week in and week out. Morgan's wise cracking studious types take to the field to cause some mayhem. Everyone is welcome to help us old hands like Polly and Blocker end this madness.

As Biz suggested, we have two or three more spots available if anyone wants to play. The competition works well with any number of teams from fourteen and upwards. Last year, eighteen Dockerlanders played.
