And what has the media got against us? After sitting through Hawkins for our entire first game, we then had to put up with McLachlan and his pompous, platitudinous rubbish throughout the second game, while the commentators ignored our good play. Not to mention the umpiring, FFS - apart from the usual freekick imbalance, there was one occasion when McCarthy outpositioned his opponent to take a strong mark and it was given the other way, much to the surprise of both players. This was not an isolated example. I hope this isn't an indication of what the real footy season is going to be like. So tiresome, same old, same old.
