Can I say how disappointed I am by this. I posted in another thread that I expected the membership card to be emblazoned with the image of a purple stadium instead of our champion player/s. A bit tongue in cheek was my comment. Apparently not so ridiculous.

What worries me is that our Club’s message is that we will have a fabulous year because we’ve got a new stadium. A great stadium and crap performances won’t cut it for me.

Still, 100,000 people bought tickets to attend an empty stadium, so on the one hand I can't begrudge the club for attempting to part some money from some fools. But actually wearing that monstrosity onto the field? That's an as-yet-unfinished bridge too far.

As you know, I don't like to be critical of the club and their merchandising decisions but this is strike two for the year. They're yet to take responsibility for Harley Bennell's troubles, after he was refused entry to a nightclub for wearing this puffy vest.
