thats truer than you think. Roly has 'oversight' or 'significant input' into the coaching and game plan. They'd be better off holding their training and planning sessions at Freo Oval while Roly is down at the ETAF joint that distracts our players from playing football.

They do have the same game plan, avoiding scoring at all costs. Pity we can't persuade other clubs to adopt it.

I'm watching women's Gaelic football on NITV. These girls are fast, skillful and competitive.

So perhaps women's AFL will get to a better level in a few years time. But until then, you just have to put up with a standard that's about U14 boys.

Would I watch U14 boys footy if it was on TV or pay $2 to watch it at Optus Stadium? Yeah, I guess I would.

I was originally a little bit worried about the result, thinking that the women's team has learnt nothing from their first season but then I read this press conference from Michelle Cowan.

"we know the brand of footy that we want to play and we know that it stands up in this competition"

I'm not worried about the result any more. Now I'm a worried about the pod people that are running the club.
