Good to be back. But as much as I agree with the off season summary, I don't care what colour or race you are, if you're out biffing on with a pack of security guards at a pub or club the night before training starts, I don't think your priorities are what you might expect or what the club is hoping for. Particularly when you've got previous form for similar activities.
IMO the time comes when you either make a committment that you do want to be the best footballer you can possibly be or you get help or perhaps give it away.
I know that may be simplifying things but we've put a lot of time, money, support and counselling into him. Yes, it's in our best interests if it works out, but it can't go on forever. He's 25, not some young kid still trying to find his feet in the big AFL system.
I hope for him and us as supporters that he comes through this latest setback but surely it can't keep going on like this.
