I wonder if they will be more popular than the NeverTender pies sold at Subi.

I'm not sure which is worse: a quality local boutique brewer having one hand tied behind their back in being forced to sell mid-strength beer, or decent local pie producer shooting themselves in the foot by trying to sneak veggies into a pie.

What is the market they are going for here? The type of person who cares so little about their health that they are willing to eat a pie purchased at a football stadium, yet cares just enough to make the distinction between a pie with veggies and one without? It's madness!

Also, any truth to the rumour that the Piegate was what people used to call Colin Sylvia's mouth?

If a Subi pie and watered down beer required a second mortgage, what’s this airy number going to set you back. I’m guessing it will only be available in the corporate areas where they sell full strength beer and it all goes on the company tab. The rest of us will have to be satisfied with offal pies and two week old chips.
