Without going into optimism overdrive, the band will deliver. I've always maintained that players make coaches. Roly has little wriggle room but the talent that's been assembled will make him a better coach. At the minute, the list are healthy and purring. And yes, the engine room has been fitted with a couple more pistons in AB & AC. Include the Harley with Wilson and Ryan off HB, I can't see why we don't make finals. It's wharfie time.

TBH, Jezza, I don't think I've ever seen you not in optimism overdrive.

I shudder to think what you would post if you ever ramped that up.

As for our engine room, the best engine in the world won't win any races if its pointed in the wrong direction. Its all very well recruiting talent but if they are not used to their best, then you might as well have picked Mickey and Pluto.

I'm a little sceptical. Lloyd is recruiting attacking players and giving them to a bloke with zero offensive flair other than his remarks. Significant changes would appear to be needed to get the best from the engine room.

Yep, we are building (potentially) a very strong list. I am also sure these guys will lift our performance greatly. Roly will coach the basics....pressure and defence. Let's hope the attacking will come more naturally to our current and future forwards. We will be ok...

Why haven't we implemented a similar obligation to Roly. Clearly, there's upside to such arrangement and the pressure cooker wouldn't be on the boil every few months. It makes very good business sense.
