Stefan Giro is small (175cm) and needs to add muscle (70kg) but I think he shapes as a terrific athlete and a fantastic rookie pick. At the SA draft combine he absolutely killed it. Just like Crowden. The yo-yo test is pretty much the same as the beep test and Giro not only won the SA Combine run, but would have placed him second if he had gone to the national combine behind the running beast that is Andrew Brayshaw. While the 20 metre test result is quicker than Stephenson and would have been top 6 at the Nationals. The jumping results also show that he should be able to compete against taller players in a marking contests, so like Crowden his height isn't a major issue. Giro's is also described as a good decision maker with decent kicking skills.
