The reason why really big blokes dropping back into the forward line no longer works is it is very easy to defend , Sure if you have a 190cm guy on a 205cm guy where the the ball is put high should give you the advantage . Not always because a good reader of the play will beat the big fella every time . Think about it Daniher and Ben Brown are good forwards who can ruck. How many good ruckman are good forwards?

I'm very optimistic about our other picks. Hugh Dixon is a great mark with a good kick looks in the Scott Lucas mould. Crowden is a nuggetty midfielder who excels in contested possessions and in congestion like oldie wines and has an accurate long left kick. Lloyd meek is a 202 cm ruckman who is a great replacement for sandi is also a great mark and has some quite classy tricks and skills for a big bloke. Could be the pick of the bunch. Switkowski a very smart small forward who plays like Brandon/phil matera.
