How about revisiting the conversation in two years' time. The desire to slam every decision the club makes is tiresome.

One thing I loved was Brayshaw's interview after being drafted. I expect he jumped on a plane and was at the ETAF this morning waiting for someone to unlock the door and let him in to start training. He's a ripper.

Got to admit I was surprised and unsure when I heard Brayshaw's name read out however after watch his high light reels again and more so seeing his reaction and hearing him talk about coming to Freo, I think the brains trust knew what they were doing.
He seems to have a great attitude and skills and is obviously super fit.

I'm not sure about the reasoning re Davies-Uniacke having more potential than other top options. To me it seems like he had a more mature body than most and got an advantage from that.

Of course he could have more growth in him, but there seems more potential physical growth in guys like Brayshaw and Cerra, bringing a higher space between their potential ceilings and where they presently are.
