You should've got out of your pool today. I tell you what, I've been to Buckingham Palace, I've been through Versailles, I've even been told to '
move along you idiot' by a G-Man on Pennsylvania Avenue outside the White House - but I've never seen so much history and royalty in one place at any one time as this afternoon at Subi:
Hills, Kicketts, Picketts, Jimmy Kraks, Chance Bateman, Leon Davis (on and on the list goes) - even Sheedy was there sweating in a suit. They presented the medals/jumpers then played a couple of episodes up on the big screen. Impressive - especially the Krakouer brother episode (don't miss it next year on NITV). What a bunch of champs, legends.
And another thing - all this preciousness about the 'hallowed turf' at Subi is baloney. Talk about going from wreck to ruin, they even cut a ute track across the ground to save some lard-arse from having to walk it:
They may as well allow all those Ebay entrepreneurs to get in there with their shovels and hoes.
