As it happens, I can help remedy your ailment. I have 3 seats bathed in glorious Perth sunshine in Row 1 of Section 545. If you suffer from this deficiency, I am prepared to swap seats for those of you unfortunate enough to stuck in Row 1 of the sun deprived Sections 541 or 540. Section 541, you have first dibs! The clock is ticking people - I am about to go to bed. No door kickers or snake oil salesmen please.

Haha.... Ok, got it.

Our previous seats were in section 104 row LL behind the dugout, always in the shade. My mate was on the other side of the ground in the sun. As we went in a group of 4 for the new stadium, and he was the longest serving member, were we allocated seats on the sunny side.

When the club opened the seat allocation up again, I had a look and there weren't any good options on the non sunny side.

Speaking to the club yesterday, they reckon section 142, row 15 may get a bit of sun during the first quarter (240 game) but after that it should be ok..... Fingers crossed.

Freofan, row 1 eegads! Unless you are 6'8" you are unfortunately going to be viewing thru glass with metal support frames. Hope the glass doesn't have magnifying qualities or you are really gonna feel that sun.
I'd post pics of the view from row 1 but this site is too hard to post pics to even the request for instructions go unanswered. Here's a link that shows the view thru the glass from row 1 which may or may not survive the delete button.

I went to the T20 game last night. We were only allowed on the lower levels at the game last night and the story everyone tells about there not being a bad seat in the stadium might be an exaggeration but I couldn't find a bad one. It's probably the combination of the different dimensions and the elevation but the ground seems much smaller and you can see the action all over the ground.

The front row is elevated above the oval, so if you're sitting in the front row you're probably at eye level with the players. Which means no more trying to see what's happening on the other side of the hill when you're in the front rows.

If you're sitting behind the goals, you can still see up the other end really well.

Seats are comfy. Enough room to sit in without having to put your knees into the gaps.

Cup holders rule.

Behind the back rows there is standing room with a bar to lean on, for groups of about a dozen. You can see the action from most places out the back, when you're buying food and drink...or looking for the male toilets because most of them seem to be for women.

The wind got in, so that handled my biggest concerns of what the cricket commentators would talk about in place of the Fremantle Doctor.

Here's one of the worst seats in the house - this is the block 517 aisle seat row 10 seat 31.
The 3 seats next to the aisle in all row 10's of the blocks that have the entry/exit openings (found on level 3 & 5) are shockers. Not as bad as this pic from row 11 i.e. as you go up but not good. A tad better from row 12 etc...
