It depends a bit on who we take. Not many young talls are ready for round 1. Mids often don't have the tank to see out a game in the middle, which means they need to be able to contribute playing on a flank for long stretches.
Lyon seems to take an overly conservative approach with rookies. I'm not sure what his rational is. It could be that he wants them to earn their spot, that he doesn't think they will contribute as much as a veteran, or whether he is trying to protect them a bit.
Assuming they are mids, I'd be inclined to play one or both in round 2 at home.
