Darcy Fogarty, Jarrad Brander, Sam Hayes, Oscar Allen and Luke Davies-Uniake in no particular order of preference. From what I've read any combination of these guys would be good result with some prospect of 2018 debuts amongst them. Big issue is to ensure any interstaters are likely to be long stay options. The WA and SA boys may be best options in this respect.

Interesting position we find ourselves in after reading this

We have 11 vacant list spots with only 9 draft picks. That could grow to 12 if Suban isn't offered another contract.

Looks like we're going to be active in the PSD and Rookie Draft to fill those spots.

If Rayner doesn't go at 1 then we grab him at 2. If he goes at 1 then these are the current rankings for mids: Dow, Cerra, Davies-Uniake, Stephenson, Coffield, and Fogarty. Fwds: Brander, Rucks: Hayes.
Davies-Uniake and Stephenson IMO are the best mids after Rayner.
My choice, 2 = Davies-Uniake or Stephenson, 5 = Brander.
Whatever happens obviously Freo are in a position to get two very good young players in this draft. Both will be up to debuting in 2018.
