Sad to se him go as he was promising.
But he is not worth pick 2.
Now we have pick 2 and 5 - our best choice in a very long time. Well done to all.
Now our recruitment team need to nail this big time.
Could be a defining trade for us thanks to Weller.
To get Wilson is great. But I really rate matera and to me is the unheralded trade.
Also pick 40 helps us get a big ruckman as well

Ease up - let’s see who they pick this year.
Also gave up next years 2nd (Wilson) and 3rd (Matera) round picks.
Might leave us a bit skinny (again) for picks next year but I’m sure we can offload someone half decent before then.

On the downside, you have to feel for Peel who lost an A grade mid/half back and gained a B grade small forward.

Now, can somebody have a word to Ross Lyon and get him to play the kids so I have more of an excuse to go to the footy next year than LED lights, and take 2 years off waiting for a real tilt at winning this thing.
