Balic has shown that he will be a top inside mid. If he was in this year's draft with what's known about him he'd easily be a first round choice. If Melbourne won't give at least pick 41 then let him go into the PSD to make a point to other clubs and players who may be thinking they can walk to whoever they want when they're out of contract. After the support the club has given Balic they're entitled to play hard. Pick 66 is an insult.

At least ask other Melbourne clubs if they want him for a better pick than 66, if Balic say's he won't go to the other clubs then remind him he can't guarantee he'll end up at Melbourne if he goes into the psd. it put Mitch Clark off coming to Freo.
