1. Crozier probably wants to go home. So not sure about the hand wringing on letting him go home.
2. He has never really developed into a solid first 18 player. He looked good and had some really nice passages of play but he is probably only ever going to be a fringe player in the team.
3. Crozier may have been played out of position or maybe he wasn't, we're judging this on the strength of us amateurs saying he looked good in that position last year for a few games. Luke Ryan looked fantastic there at times this year but probably wouldn't get us a second round pick in a trade.
3. Wilson is a real upgrade. I have had him 2 years in a row in super coach before I heard he wanted to come home. Super coach isn't everything but it does tell you whether a player is involved, whether they are consistent, and whether they're skills are any good. Tick, Tick, Tick. Half back is such a weakness for us. Watching us struggle getting it out of the back line in the last few years, tells me Wilson would very much be a first 18 player.
4. I don't think we should pay overs for him. And GWS will try to make it hard, like they do with any players now otherwise they will turn into GC. But we'll get him. Particularly if we can pick up a few draft picks, of which Crozier is one and Balic is the other.
5. Lets put it this way, if we get Wilson, would there be a spot for Crozier? Probably less and less likely.
