Fremantle utility, Nat Fyfe, was spotted with Melbourne superstar, Jessie Hogan last week.
Hogan who is considered a future captain of the dees was spotted wooing the contracted Fremantle skipper over a coffee in the port town.
Fyfe, who only just signed a new contract is considered an important cog in the Dees finals aspirations after falling just short this year.
Fyfe's stoppage work would provide the grunt the Demons midfield requires to get back in contention next year.
The Dees have reportedly offered not a great deal along with nothing else of substance.
A friend of Fyfe's former roommate's cousin from boarding school has confirmed that a deal was on the table that puts the Dees in the top seat to keep trade rumours alive.
