Da Pig was a handy player but he was no Mitchell. Realistically, you're not going to get a trade for middle of the road players you are going to delist. There' a surplus of these guys. That doesn't mean they they won't be good value in the right team, there just won't be a competition to get hold of them.
If we held out for a pick on Matty he'd probably have been playing wafl, courtesy of FFC. His chance of moving to another club would be lost, which is a pretty shoddy way to treat a long time servant of the club. Thanks and good luck is better for all.
