Weller looks valuable but after that the only genuine "wow, we've got a winner here" is Morabito. Logue still learning but if we are at full strength next year it will be interesting to s where he fits in.
We've done better with our lower picks.

Apeness's biggest problem is that his form for Peel is very underwhelming. In fact if he wasn't an AFL listed player i dare say he would have been dropped to the 2nds at Peel. Just look at his stats in last years WAFL finals. Unfortunately I cant see Apeness playing a 100 wafl games let alone afl.

Seems to be getting better Weller Tucker and Logue look like having good careers , The three years of Sheridan , Simpson and Apeness were pretty lean , Good thing we picked up some handy players with lower picks , such as Neale

I dunno Pav353. Tucker has been underwhelming at best for a first pick and Logue I'm hoping is a long term project.

I don't think Tucker would warrant a game if we're at full strength as we had Walters, Blakely, Langdon, Grey and Spurr out injured.

If Logue was to play as a backman where he has played all this year, and we are at full strength, he'll be competing for a spot against Hamling, Johnson, Pearce, Ryan, Wilson, Spurr, Weller, Blakely, Hughes. I'd have them all before him.

I'm looking for a big WAFL start to the season where he can force his way into the team. Of course, knowing Freo there will be injuries.

Has the draft that Tucker was in proven to be that strong? It is a question i am not sure , I think Weitering was one and Parish was three , can't recall other orders ,our pick was fairly late so may have been o.k , Others who follow this more diligently than i may bring up some names that were great picks that year

Our second rounders were Balic and Tucker so pretty good in the best 3 of the second round imho and Menagola was a pre season draft selection for older discarded players not a draft selection for Geelong , So the Freo boys are not totally asleep at the wheel

I'm happy to concede that Tucker and Logue may become serviceable players that fit into out best 22 but first round selections should give us a bit more hope than that.
