Was announced on 6pr that crozier going to western bulldogs on a 3 year deal. Possibly late second or early 3rd round.
Sad to see him go, but never quite reached the heights at freo under ross.

Crozier played perhaps his best football under Ross in 2017. He's had 5+ years to deliver more but I doubt he'll play any better. He has pulled down a couple of howlers though.

Crozier has been a bit of a tease. He has all the attributes to be a fantastic player, but doesn't seem to influence the game much. Whether that's him or coaching I guess we'll find out.

The Footsdogs might be getting a steal here.

I reckon he played his best footy when he was at half back. Read the play, spoiled and marked well and hit targets. But then he was back as a small forward...sort of typecast. Pity to see him go because he has some polish...but at least he is actually wanted by other clubs, ie has some currency.

I think the big steal will be Harley Balic. He should have been first round pick in his draft if not for the wrist injury and was a bargain when we got him at Pick 38. Overall a pick in the 20's would be a win for us but he will go on to be a solid performer wherever he lands.

Half forward is a graveyard at Freo with our game plan. Crozier is a very good player who will go well at Footscray where he can play his natural game. I'm happy for him.
The reason we're trading him instead of Sheridan or Sutcliffe is because no one wants them
Apparently Footscray were keen on crozier at the draft, but we nabbed him first

Not ideal there is upside to Hayden , Will reserve my decision as to whether it is a good move or not when i see what we get for him, As for Sutcliffe and Sheridan You are right salty dog no one is banging the door down, Wouldn't it be great if other clubs only approached the ones we didn't want
