Does anyone know if we have an entrant in the GF sprint. It was Tucker last year (5th) but can't find anything for 2017. Maybe Brad Hill or even Griff Logue?

Watched the end of The Front Bar (after Marngrook of course) only to see Basil Z get the award for ******** comments during a call (not sure which one as there were many) Anyway he then actually made me laugh! He was saying how he got a message asking if he was free Saturday to call the grand final (he was over the moon) til he saw the last word 'sprint'. Would love to have seen his face at the time.

DJKL - The AFL changed it up that year and it was a handicap like a stawell gift.
For memory Fev played dead in the lead up and did just enough to qualify out of the semi but was given about 15 metres on the scratch runners and was well in front of the rest of the field at the start.
Why the AFL would make the sprint a handicap is beyond me??
He just held off the pack and Im sure collected a fortune for him and his mates.
The one and only year its been a handicap thankfully.

Fev would now take more than a hundred metres to hit top speed and several hundred to pull up. If he ran through the little league GF the carnage would be appalling. Not a good idea.
