First time I have got to see Griffen Logue live today was interested to see what I was missing watching on screen. I have seen posts that he gets lost and will never be a footballer. I am sorry but I saw no evidence of this and left satisfied that we have recruited very well and he will make the grade.
Luke Ryan was superb, Taberner excellent and Sam Collins must play more AFL. I don't care if you are slow of you can read the ball you don't need to be as quick.
I would not go anywhere near Liam Ryan.

Dunno DBTS. Still undecide on Logue myself. Did a couple of good things but considering the amount of time the ball was in Subi's forward line he didn't really do a lot. Got a lot more out of Ryan, Collins and Nyhuis.

What I'd like to see before the inevitable list clean out occurs - is for the club to announce a raft of re-signings first.

Suban, IMHO, deserves another year (15 tackles today, 5 more than the next best). As much as I'd like to see Taberner re-sign as well - prob won't happen that quick. Brady Grey's another who deserves another year, IMHO.

I just think it would be a moral-boost and reward a few blokes before we show the door to another raft of loyal servants.

Of course, if both Sheridan and Sutcliffe were receipients of such largesse, then I think it's a terrible idea.

Log (Yarri, Woolybutt, Jarrah or maybe just pine) it is an odd one. He is athletic can kick handball and mark but I think he is (still) lost in the backline. I'd like to see how he goes in the middle or thereabouts pushing blokes over and shunting the ball forward. I guess his size was necessary back today and he has some things to learn. Could yet be a star or a dud.

Subiaco supporters must be direct descendants of the WCE booing bunch.

I was at the game, Logue as a young player played a great game. Many others including Pearce, Bell, Subes, Tabs, Darcy, Ryan, OBrien gave their all ..the whole team team had to beat the umps and Subi.

Noddy all the so called Subi supporters around us that were booing were WCE who didn't know any of their so called Subi players - obviously just there for final game at Subi and to boo peel. The real Subi supporters weren't the booers. Glad we won, as mentioned umps didn't help and 1 player down for 3 qtrs. Sad for Zac D to go out that way (even though I've bagged him a lot). Funny of Ryan to say they played for him and all had a bit of 'inner Daws' in them! Did notice a fair bit of fisting out there!

Nothing I saw today from Luke Ryan leads me to believe my earlier prediction of him being All Australian within 3 years is wrong. He is the Connor Blakely of last year.
Ive also made my mind up about Griffen Logue. He will be absolutely fantastic at AFL level. His speed off the mark is second to none for his size, his marking is becoming stronger by the game and his kicking is very very good.
This year weve found Hodor, Ryan and Logue.

Im hoping a few more like Tabs, Cox and Hughes can be added next year.

Have to agree with teasea I was impartial I support Subi and I love Freo. Where I was seated I had a genuine Subi supporter in front of me and a group of Eagles supporters behind me who stated they were there for final Subi game.
By the end of the game I was hoping for Subi to get up for the bloke in front of me but more so wanted Peel to win for the morons behind me.
Basically had no idea of the names of any player from either side and booed and made derogatory Fremantle calls all day.
It did give me an idea of how umps are influenced in Eagles games at Subi. They essentially called for free kicks that were non existent and booed obvious ones it was eye opening.

The booing by Eagles supporters is something they have become famous for , They can't help themselves , it all stems back to when they were too polite many years ago , And were encouraged by the media of the day to become more noisy and vocal , And it evolved into mindless booing of umpires and opposition . The game by Luke Ryan yesterday was fantastic considering he looked sore in the second half , A very deserving Simpson medalist , He looks to have played his last game for Peel
