TGTI mentioned last year's Sandover medallist and personally I think Jye Bolton deserves a go at AFL level. He had an excellent season last year and although he didn't poll as well this year he carried an injury and missed a number games due to it early on. It was no coincidence that when he overcame it and was injury free in the second half or so of the season that Claremont's form improved and he was back and regularly picking up 30-40 disposals a game.

Even though he's often tagged he just seems to know where to go to get the ball. His disposal is quite good, he keeps his feet and seems as though he is well liked and respected by team mates and umpires.

Met his younger sister and Mum at a game this year(no not in a carpark!) and she reckons he loves it over here. He was approached by a number of clubs last year but nothing came of it. Sister is a teacher and was interested in moving over here to work too after listening to and visiting him. Mum wants him to get serious about a girl and settle down but his sister says he is very protective of her and will keep a watch over any of his team mates trying to move in on her.

There's my Polly story for today.

I think the Kane Mitchell comparison is a sound one. Look, the way I see it is that Schloithe, like Sheridan, Sutcliffe, Masten, are all doing okay in the WAFL. They look good, at times even a class above, but I reckon you're looking for exceptional rather than average - MickeyB for example. And in the draft, Blakely will pay you back in spades, as to the likes of Langdon and Weller. Recent drafts have been good. Stick with it.
