I'd be interested if those stats included Mora. Not sure 3 ACL's can be prevented by Fitness/Medical staff. Also, Bennell had calf issues at GC and they continued when at Freo. Look at Delidio at GWS - persistent calf issues resulted in him missing most of this year.
As other's have mentioned, I'm not sure broken legs (Fyfe & A.Pearce - twice each, but different places), broken ribs (Sandi), torn-off-the-bone hamstrings (Sandi & Ballas - both on the wrong side of 30 and had these issues before), dislocated shoulders (S.Hill & Blakely) and knee injuries (Apeness, Walters, Z.Clarke & Langdon) suffered this year are the result of poor medical/fitness staff.
Also factor in Balic came to the club with a serious wrist injury in 2015 (he was touted at a top 10 pick before the injury) which took the entire 2016 season to get right.
Usually a run of soft tissue injuries and the re-injuring of those, would indicate poor management from a medical & fitness perspective - think our 2011 season. Brady Grey & Sandi both re-injured hamstrings - but Sandi has had issues with those for a few seasons now.
Plus I would add it seemed the medical/fitness staff did a fantastic job keeping, at least, Lachie Neale on the paddock for all but one game even though he was carrying some significant injuries to his groin & shoulder. Same could be said of Fyfe with his bruised sternum.
One thing, however, that never changes is the footy media's inclination to sink the boot into the Docker's at every opportunity - particularly when they can selectively use 'statistics' to do it.
Fake news at its worse.
