Maybe its the sheer disappointment of the recent result and maybe some of the reasons for the fade outs are the kids are starting to tire. So to hell with it, if players like Dawson, Ibbo, Griff, Pearce (possibly) might not be with us next season, I think they should get one more game in the bigs. Most of the young guys will have qualified to play finals for peel, so even giving them a week off to contest a finals series and try to finish the year on a high might be something to consider.

At least there were a few sentimental selections last year with Pav's final game.

I think there will be a few we see for the last time and some will not get a chance fo a last game.
I think they should keep Tabs and Sheridan but I'm happy for Sutcliffe, Balic and maybe Suban to be moved on. Dawson has retired and Pearce should be encouraged to follow. The injured guys such as Spurr, Appeness, Clarke, and Sandi should be considered for release which might give griff another year as a back up. Bit harsh on Sandi but he's going to be having more and more age related injuries and will hold the development of other Ruckmen up. Johnson and Ballas being retained for another year will depend on who we bring in during the trades. From memory Yarran 'retired' after our list was completed last year so that should be another spot.
I think we'll see a minimum of 6 changes at the end of the year possibly quite a few more, much will depend on trades. Ballas and a few others may need to wait until the very end to see if they get offered a contract.
I think we need to say goodbye to some assistants and to the recruiters who have ignored the need for key position players until it was too late.
Time to finish the re-wire. I feel we have already been re-stumped.
