Too many players want to leave it to the next guy happy, to be second to the ball. Players must find the aggression required at this level. Playing placid football may as well give it away. Blame the coach if you like but when the neccesary pressure was applied in the first quarter we were competitive, players didn't convert and fell away poorly.

Some of these fellows are playing for carreers, some are playing for contracts. Pretty insipid effort considering all that.

Hard day for a foward line when no one has the ability to execute skills to get it down there, but whilst Tabs started well, he's dropped away. Needs to just "get involved" in the last quarter. Has not been the worst, and has at least had a go, and clunked a few. Encouraging, despite the early misses...

Mcarthy has been extremely disappointing though. I would suggest he's starting to become a bit of a worry. Struggles to present, struggling to get involved. Seagulling a bit too much, rather than hitting packs and being a focal point.

Well, there's no mistaking it, we are woeful, and we're not getting better, are we? If anything it's getting worse. Confidence is shot. The season has long been over but this is very poor momentum to carry into the break.
All season I've defended the club on social media against all the moaning fairweathers who can't see the 'long game'. I told them, 'we're rebuilding, we're blooding new talent. Things will get worse before they get better'. But no, it's just getting more worser. I keep telling myself that players are re-signing - they must have faith in the future. But I just can't see a plan anymore. Unless the plan is to learn how to play football by letting the opposition give us a clinic.
That 'next season' we're all looking forward to? I no longer believe it'll be any better than we're seeing now.
Very disillusioned.

The players aren't getting beaten in this last quarter. They have given up. Lyon has to get more grunt out of these boys before someone roasts them on the campfire.
Getting angry now. Jeez I can handle losing to a better team but when I see a team collectively stop working and give up, it's infuriating.
