You might be able to still get Naughton at pick 16-17 or whatever Adelaide's first pick is. Adelaide isn't just going to hand Mitch McGovern over and we don't even have a second round pick. I like the look of Darcy Fogarty because he is big and tough and is from country SA so he will have to move no matter where he goes much like Lachie Neale.
I sort of thought that Brennan Cox will move back into defence if we get Mitch McGovern.

Jezza - As regards having Pearce, Logue and Naughton - Although I love the fact that your irrepressible optimism extends to our long term injury list, I'd be very wary of automatically assuming that Pearce will be straight in next year and anywhere near where he was. The club has stated that he will always have to be managed for workload as he now has a history of recurring serious stress fractures, and he has missed 2 years of footy. We should be drafting to cover him because the chances of him playing out full seasons for the foreseeable future are slight.

I'm more in tune to what Bizkit suggested that at pick 5 or thereabouts, that Brander kid is a better get. If we're going to get the younger Gov, we might have to do a 3 way with Carlton maybe. With Pearce, no doubt that he'll take time to adjust and my gut feel is that Johnno could get a contract for 1 year which would be ideal for Pearce's sake.

We're well stocked in the back end - Cox, Nyhuis, Ryan and Duman were all added last draft to play back. Add in Pearce and Collins and that's a third of the on-field playing group. All of those blokes are very good, why waste a couple in the WAFL by adding more.

Edt: oops, forgot Logue too.
