As I like listening to drew Morphett I sometimes listen to footy on 6pr!!!! Yeh I know 'straight to the tribunal for that' 6 weeks ban from Dockerlander no doubt, but at least they know our players anyway
If I remember correctly someone phoned in after our game and directly asked Brad if he'd heard about it which was then that he made the comment tho he tried to tone it down a bit, tho did say if you were thinking of getting a new coach why wouldn't you suss out experienced ones to see if interested and again he did say you wouldn't approach the coach directly so of course they could honestly deny speaking to one another. Also coaches may suss out other positions as their jobs are never safe and could even be interested in returning home. Not sure if he'd mentioned it before Saturday or where the caller had heard it. I think it was Brad who also mentioned a year before it happened, that Eddie had approached Malthouse whilst at Eagles, and of course that occurred so perhaps he was just basing it on that and trying to outdo Hackdorn. Anyway it stopped callers ringing in just to rubbish Freo.
