This game has the potential to be a real stinker!! Its a situation where the losing team is the winner.

It could set a whole new standard for the term 'atrocious footy'.

They simply have to come up with an idea that makes the non finalists 'play for something 'at the end of the year, rather than be rewarded in the draft for losing.....

Everyone from us up still thought they were a finals chance last round. I guess a couple of teams could tank from round 15-17, but at least then it would be over with and you might get some young kids jag some stirring wins in the last 5 weeks, and when they suck everyone will just know they suck, instead of giving everyone they chance to accuse them of tanking.

It's been said that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. Personally I reckon tanking jokes are actually the lowest. It would be good to be rid of them. If the solution also helps the competition, I suppose that would be good too.

Managed - ok, but caught up in a bigger corporate picture that no one would consider ethical if it ever came out, and it never works anyway (so you just miss out on a match-day payment for nothing).

I think, for the sake of all those sods that show up every couple of weeks to a dank cold concrete stadium, it might be an idea to win a home game. After all, it's been over half a season since the team has registered a win in front of their fat wallet packers account number holderss seat renters supporters - think of it as a 'good will gesture'.

Ease up folks. Darcy has been brave and should have won a RS nomination. With 4 games to go, we're still getting games into our youngsters. Logue, Ryan, Cox, Hughes, Tucker, Weller. All six are in our best 22 with a combined total of 100+ AFL games. We've just about emptied what's at Peel. I'm hoping that we can snare a top 4 draft pick because that's Gold for our development. And I'm hoping we get Aaron Noughton because and I'll say this again, he's all class.
