Cam's incident was assessed as careless conduct with high impact to the head. Maybe St Kilda's medicos were being theatrical, but given Gilbert was put in a neckbrace, it's hard to argue it wasn't high impact. Dangermouse's tackle was classed as medium impact.
I'd disagree with your assessment that Kreuzer didn't have the ball. He had it when Dangerfield started the tackle, but lost it pretty quickly. Dangerfield was on the wrong side to see the ball come out, and the tackled lingered on too long.
Cam's tackle started after the ball had been released.
I would have though Danger's tackle was right on the line of a week. Seems like a reasonable result.
