With apologies to Maxwell Smart, (and to fellow Dockerlanders for listening to 6PR this morning).
The Hack came on all breathless over a 'breaking' story he'd been working on all Wed and Thurs at Eagles HQ, that Mitchell was planning to announce his retirement.
I assume he'd been under a rock to think that would be breaking news, but he completely missed the Priddis retirement.
Just to dig his hole a little deeper he opined that Priddis would now play on, seeing as Mitchell was going.
Confirms everything I (and others) think of him. The gift that keeps on giving

You can just work out exactly what the Hack was thinking. He heard like everyone else that there was a Weagles presser this morning. Putting two and two together, with Sniper Mitchell in the coaches box and Priddis signing a one year contract recently, he assumed Mitchell was retiring. Just goes to show, the Hack knows nothing. He guesses like the rest of us. No one tells him anything of note. No real insight either.

It's when he makes pronouncements about Freo players, retiring them early or delisting them without any clue, or saying someone's going to the Weagles when there's no evidence of that. Yeah, I guess I don't care about the Weagles as such, but it's the way he big notes himself that irks me; and he eventually stuffs up Freo info too.
